FUTURISTAS works in partnership with other individuals and organizations. These constellations of experts and innovators bring decades worth of experience within formal and informal education, the private sector, academia, government and the United Nations system working on policy, applications, and education, both globally and domestically.
Founder, Executive Director, Chair of Board
Jennifer worked in the United Nations system for over 20 years where she established or grew science, technology and innovation (STI) portfolios, most recently leading this work at UN Women. Her work spanned the development of global normative frameworks, to organizational strategies, to programmatic work and partnerships. In the different UN agencies she traveled through, she focused on links between STI and youth, girls and women, education, governance, and economic development. Jennifer also serves on the Board of the Rhinebeck Science Foundation, the Champions Board of the National Girls Collaborative Project, the Community Advisory Board of the Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum and on her town’s Climate Smart Community Task Force and Comprehensive Plan Committee. She is graduate of UC Berkeley and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
